September Happenings at the Ridge

Hope everyone is settled back into "school mode".  Here is an update of what's going on here at the Ridge.  Program Night will take place this Thursday September 20, 2012 beginning at 6:15pm.  All the Co-Curriculars (extra curricula activities) will be set up in the Street and this will be a great opportunity for you to check out all the clubs that are available for your child to get involved with.  There will be a brief Welcome to the Ridge in the theatre from 7:00 to 7:10 then you will proceed to your child's class rooms at which point the teacher will give a general overview of the course.  Please note that this is not an interview evening, it is an opportunity for the teacher to go over the curriculum and classroom expectations.  The schedule is as follows:

7:15 - 7:30     Period 1
7:35 - 7:50     Period 2
7:55 - 8:10     Period 4
8:15 - 8:30     Period 5
8:35 - 9:00     Program Leaders and Admin in forum for questions

Following this there will be a Post Secondary Information session for Grade 12 Families in the Theatre, from 8:30 - 9:30

On Monday, September 24, 2012,  from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm, we will have our first School Advisory council meeting in the Conference Room.

On Thursday September 27, we will be holding our annual Terry Fox Run/Walk for the students (9:45- 10:20).
